S. Giuliano è una casa di campagna, ristrutturata, risalente al 19° secolo, immersa nelle verdi colline umbre.
Il paese più vicino è Umbertide, cittadina medioevale adagiata sul fiume Tevere, testimone durante l’ultimo conflitto mondiale di duri scontri tra le truppe tedesche e alleate, liberata il 6 luglio 1944 dalla 8°armata britannica.
Con il trascorrere degli anni molte famiglie inglesi, americane e tedesche hanno scelto Umbertide come luogo di residenza per la bellezza del paesaggio, per le ricchezze storico culturali e per la facilità con cui si raggiungono città quali: Firenze, Roma, Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Spello, Gubbio, Orvieto, Siena, Lago Trasimeno.
La casa, circondata da un ampio giardino ricco di alberi da frutta e di piante e fiori ornamentali da cui partono vari sentieri che portano alle colline circostanti dove fare delle belle passeggiate o corse per i più sportivi.
La casa si sviluppa su tre piani, l’interno arredato con mobili
di buon gusto è stato ristrutturato mantenendo le caratteristiche
originarie, quali travi in legno, pavimenti in mattoni di terracotta
che la rendono molto accogliente e calda.L’ingresso privato
ci porta ad un ampio salone molto luminoso con un grosso camino
in pietra serena utilizzabile, una cucina ben attrezzata e ad una
prima camera da letto con 2 letti singoli. Al piano superiore abbiamo
1 camere matrimoniali con bagno e doccia,1 camera matrimoniale con
bagno vasca idromassaggio e doccia.La biancheria è compresa
nel prezzo con cambio completo a settimana per chi soggiorna più
di 7 giorni.
Piscina privata (12x6) riservata agli ospiti con gazebo e lettini da sole.Un barbecue con un pergolato dove preparare gustose grigliate.Si ricorda che in ogni stagione nei paesi e cittadine dell’Umbria si svolgono sagre, spettacoli folcloristici, dove è ancora possibile gustare cibi genuini tartufo bianco – castagne – frutti di bosco – cacciagione e bere del buon vino e prendere parte ad iniziative culturali molto interessanti per grandi e piccini: si ricordano: la corsa dei ceri a Gubbio, il Palio di Siena, l’Eurochocolat a Perugia, mostre di antiquariato a Cortona e a Montone, musica Jazz e spettacoli teatrali in tutta l’Umbria, musei ed arte ad Assisi (Pg) Spello.
Campo da golf, da tennis e un lago da pesca a soli 5 km nella tenuta del Castello di Antognolla.Si ricorda l’università di Perugia a soli 20 km per chi fosse interessato ai vari corsi di facoltà.Il primo livello terra della casa con entrata indipendente è utilizzato dal proprietario che si occupa della pulizia della piscina, del giardino e della casa per un buon funzionamento al fine di rendere più piacevole il soggiorno agli ospiti e l’esperienza acquistata nel tempo ci dice di quanto sia stato apprezzato dagli stessi clienti, dell’aiuto e della gentile cortesia riservata.

S. Giuliano is a country house dating back to the 19th century. Set in the Umbrian hill, it is surrounded by beautiful woodlands, wild flowers and green landscape.Close to the little town of Umbertide, which has the historic Tiber river crossing trough the town.Umbertide was testimony of freedom during the Second World War on the 6th of July 1944 being liberated by the 8° Armata Britannica.Many expatriates, from England, American and Germany, have permanent residence in this area, for the beauty of the landscape and for the rich history cultural for the facility to reach cities like: Florence, Rome, Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Siena, Orvieto, Spello, Spoleto, Deruta, Todi, Cortona, Arezzo, Lake Trasimeno with daily bus service and by train.
S. Giuliano is a large stone house with lovely big garden, fruit trees ornamental flowers and plants from where starts little paths that tacks up on the hill side where one can have nice week, swimming pool, barbecue, patio, area to sit and eat.The area is a haven for wildlife from golden oriels, boar, porcupine fassen and butterflies. The vista of natural beauty would inspire the artist and the nature lover. Monte Acuto is 900 metres above sea level and provides a challenging hike with the reward of a stunning panorama over the Appenines.
The house is on 3rd floors, inside furnished with furnitures of good taste has been restructured maintaining the original characteristics which beans in wood, pavements in bricks of cooked earth that render the house very comfortable and worm.The private income tackes into a wide hall very brite with a fire place in serene stone, on the same floor there is the kitchen very equipped and a bedroom with 2 single beds upstears we have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms one with shower and the other much bigger with shower and jacusy.
The linen is comprised in the price with a complete change every week.
All years roud on the small villages.There are tipical Umbria festival, where one can taste local food and drink a good wine.There are Italian festa celebration during all the season. We can remember:
The Palio of (Siena) the race of the Ceri (Gubbio), Eurochocolate (Perugia) Music Jazz and Theatre a Spoleto e Spello, Sagre of tartufo bianco e nero di (Norcia) chestnuts in Autumn and “Pecorino” cheese a regional speciality.
There is a market every Wednesday to see local farmers bring their products, tomatoes, fruits, vegetable, salad shop like Coop is open every day, Post Office, Bank, Chemist, Hospital are in Umbertide.
For how is interested at the many corses that the University of foreigners of Perugia offers, the faculty is easy to go by train, bus or by car, because it is only 20km of distance.
For sport activities there are a golf Corse at 5 km Castle of Antognolla, Tennis Clubs and a Lake for fishing.
The botton floor with independent entrance is used by the owner her name is Teresa, she speaks English, she keeps a good operation of the house, cleaning the swimming pool take care of the garden in a generalized manner to the aim of render more pleasant the staying of the customers. We have seen that the guests have appreciate very much this help and service.

On request Teresa can cooking home made tipical Italian food and served at very good price.
She also can cleaning and baby sitting.
